Relief services under §45b SGB XI
What is it?
Relief services (Entlastungsleistungen) support people in need of care and their families in everyday life — hourly companionship, accompaniment to appointments, help around the home, or activities that encourage independence.
Who pays?
Anyone with a care level (Pflegegrad) of 1–5 is entitled to €131 per month from the long-term care insurance fund. This amount can be put towards recognised relief and companionship services.
